Come All, Come As You AreAn evening of light music, light refreshments, and meeting God as you are | Saturday, March 29th 7pm - 9:30pm Do you believe that you have to be perfect before God will have anything to do with you? Do you perceive God as someone who only seeks to lash out His wrath upon you? Do you call out to God only when you're faced with difficult situations? On March 29th, we invite you to come "as you are" to seek understanding of who God is, and to celebrate the truth that He desires to meet with us in every season and circumstance of our lives. God wants to meet with us now, and He waits for us to receive his invitation. Please join us for an evening of singing to the Lord, hearing God's Word, responding to His real and living presence. Please eat dinner before you arrive, light refreshments will be provided at the end. Come, meet with God as you are... | Click on banner to enlarge! |

| Speaker: Rand Cho | I was born and rasied in California as the last of three sons. Most my life was spent in love with martial arts and performing arts. Put the two together and you get actors like Jacki Chan or Jet Li, and I found early on (around 3rd grade) that I watned to become at stuntman/actor like them. I went to church on Sundays and was taught by pastors who were fired, quit, or expelled because of illegitimate relations they were having with other students. I dabbled in magical arts and satanic influences for a short time in high school. I ended up going to UCLA and found that most of the world was confused about life as a whole. I grew tired of hearing what everyone had to say about this or that; instead I was growing increasingly more demanding to know the truth apart from human opinion. That landed me in CCM, where I joined a praise band and a small group and started to meet people who were interested in real, objective truth and faith. In my last year at UCLA, I committed myself to share life with Christine (now my wife) and decided to ditch the whole stuntman thing and spend the rest of my life as a teacher of truth. Nothing involves me and interests me more than the knowledge of God and seeing lives transformed by it. I'm a student of the Word and servant for the Lord. And I will never forget what God saved me from, and what He saved me for. |
| Praise Band: Azusa Pacific University Worship Team | | The East Campus Worship Team is an eclectic group of undergraduate students at Azusa Pacific University, who all share the common passion of serving the Kingdom of God through music worship. Many of us are music majors, and others are pursuing other academic interests, but we all come from long musical backgrounds in music worship. Each week we put our creative inputs together in order to plan and arrange worship sets for the weekly APU morning chapels that occur on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Our time spent together leading worship has instilled in us a great respect and joy in seeing others share in the honor of worshiping God in all of the dynamics of His Mercy and Majesty! |
